For your post-operative comfort, we recommend rooms that have a refrigerator and microwave as well as a place for your companion/caretaker to sleep. The Hotel Adolphus
Beer baron Adolphus Busch created this spectacular Beaux Arts building in downtown Dallas in 1912, sparing nothing in the way of rich ornamentation. One of the nation's biggest and best floral displays is set on the thickly wooded slopes above White Rock Lake, a popular recreation spot close to downtown. History doesn't get much more vivid than this museum exploring the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963. Located in the sixth floor of the infamous Texas Schoolbook Depository building, the museum features the actual corner window from which Lee Harvey Oswald fired the fatal shots.
