Skin Lesion/Mole Removal
The majority of moles and other skin lesions are non-cancerous and pose no health threat. Atypical skin lesions include those that change in size and appearance, bleed, are asymmetrical, not uniform in color, have irregular edges, seem unusual or change in any way, or new lesions that appear after age twenty. These atypical lesions should be examined by a physician. However, a person may wish to get rid of innocuous moles that are irritating them, or simply because they are aesthetically unappealing. Dr. Bassichis can entirely remove the lesion from the face or body with careful attention to achieving optimal camouflaged results. As well, all lesions are sent for pathologic tissue evaluation to ensure that the correct treatment for your skin lesion was attained.
