Our Lux 1540 Fractional Laser Treatments featuring the Palomar Lux1540 is a patented noninvasive laser therapy designed to dramatically improve skin texture and pigmentation, including the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, surgical scars, and sun damage. The Lux 1540 utilizes innovative fractional resurfacing technology, where only a small fraction of the skin receives the laser light. The treatment delivers light in an array of high precision microbeams which create narrow, deep columns of tissue penetration well below the epidermis (skin surface) and into the dermis, while preserving the superficial epidermis and surrounding healthy tissue from damage. This "fractional" treatment allows the skin to heal much faster than if the entire area were treated at once, using the body's natural healing process to create new, healthy tissue to replace skin imperfections.
