Michelle Mantel Bassichis, MD– also known as "Mrs. Dr. Bassichis"– is a double board certified, Harvard-trained physician who devotes her professional and creative expertise to the Advanced Facial Plastic Surgery Center. From web design and marketing, event planning and interior design, to patient education and human resources, Michelle is the behind-the-scenes, jack-of-all-trades at Advanced. As well, "Mrs. Dr. Bassichis" coordinates the Clinical Research programs for the Advanced Facial Plastic Surgery Center. But most importantly, she is responsible for the care, education, and adoration of the Bassichis Kids!

JEANETTE D. CHAN
Licensed Medical Aesthetician

A native New Yorker (minus the accent), Jeanette is one fabulous and fashionable Yankee. Her background in the medical field started 15 years ago in pharmaceutical sales, where her passion for great skin care was born. While educating clinicians about prescription dermatology products, Jeanette's interest in the science of skin care and her people skills led her to seek additional training in the aesthetic industry. Now a Licensed Medical Aesthetician, we are thrilled to have this elegant, talented and well-spoken young woman here at Advanced. Her combined scientific and aesthetic backgrounds are the perfect addition for our Medi.SPA, where her unwavering commitment to helping patients achieve healthy, radiant skin can truly shine. Jeanette is married to her college sweetheart, and they have a young son named Matthew.

KAREN ANN CONNELLA
Licensed Surgical Technician / Certified Nursing Assistant

The newest member of our staff recently moved to Dallas from Tulsa and we are lucky to have her. Karen's calm demeanor, patience, and Southern charm won us all over right away, and we know it will work on you, too! Karen serves as Dr. Bassichis' intra-operative surgical technician and in-office assistant to ensure that all our surgeries and procedures flow flawlessly. She loves her role here at Advanced because she is passionate about plastic surgery and loves the fact that she is able to share in our patients' surgical experiences from meeting them during their first office consultation through surgery and beyond their final results. She enjoys health and fitness, golf, travel, and snuggling her 12 year old puppy named Brie.

Licensed Medical Aesthetician

We are proud to feature Delisa Cook, a highly trained and skilled licensed aesthetician in the medical skin care field. Her background in fashion design and art, make her uniquely sensitive to the subtleties of skin and beauty. From smoothing microdermabrasion to soothing medical facials, Delisa will customize a skin care regimen to suit your specific needs. She truly captures the art and science of beautiful skin care. SANDY FRANZNICK
Licensed Professional Aesthetician

An established authority of skin care, Sandy's expertise in microdermabrasion, spa facials, and laser treatments form an integral part of our Medi.SPA. However, it's her peaceful demeanor and calming touch that have her clients addicted. A married mother of two, she has the skin of a twentysomething and is willing to share her secrets. She loves fitness, gardening, decorating, and water sports, but we are all proud of her commitment to several philanthropic endeavors.

LACY HOLADAY
Patient Care Coordinator

Born and raised in Dallas, our lovely Lacy has two brothers and a dog named Duke. She attended the University of Oklahoma, receiving scientific degrees in biochemistry and zoology. Lacy has a deep passion for fashion, including avant-garde labels such as Proenza Schouler and lust-worthy ones like Jimmy Choo. Her combined talents in science and fashion make her a perfect fit for Advanced, where she enjoys her position as Patient Care Coordinator. Lacy loves to travel, especially to Italy and Germany. Locally, she delights in listening to live music, running, exploring the Dallas restaurant scene, and, of course, taking great care of our patients.

STEPHANIE LUNA
Patient Care Coordinator / Injectable Specialist

Stephanie is a native Texan who has lived in Maryland, Arizona and Puerto Rico. She has now returned to her home state of Texas and we are thrilled to have her with us here at Advanced. A successful graduate of the University of Arizona in Communications and Marketing, Stephanie's medical background in oncology and diagnostic imaging ensures that our patients' needs and well-being are tended to with expertise and attention to detail. Stephanie is bilingual in Spanish and English, but it is her gentle demeanor, graciousness and keen listening abilities that have everyone charmed. Stephanie enjoys reading, traveling, and sports...go Cowboys! But most importantly, she is the proud mother of her adorable and fabulous young daughter, DeMaris.

ALISSA MIERS
Surgical Care Coordinator / Insurance Specialist

Alissa is a Dallas native and has lived in the area her entire life. Her experience in the medical field began almost ten years ago when she started as a file clerk for a neurologist. She quickly advanced from that position and has since worked in a variety of medical settings, including family practice and surgical oncology. In 2005, she found a happy home in Dr. Bassichis' practice. We are lucky to have her personable and fashionable charm as a part of our office team. As Surgical Care Coordinator, she takes meticulous and wonderful care of our surgical patients here at Advanced. With her savvy understanding of medical insurance, she also handles insurance billing and accounts receivable for the practice. Alissa and her husband have been happily married for 11 years, and have 4 kitties. She loves cooking, make-up, animals, and travel (especially to the beach). In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.

ALEXIS VAN KERKHOVE
Licensed Laser Technician / Medical Aesthetician

As a Laser Technician and Medical Aesthetician with an extensive background in the field of plastic surgery, we are pleased to have Alexis on our team at Advanced. With two prestigious laser certifications and experience operating many different types of lasers, Alexis is an authority in laser skin rejuvenation, PhotoFacial, laser hair removal, and vein therapy. She is an expert in the art of laser tattoo removal and permanent make-up correction. Alexis is also a Medical Aesthetician skilled in such treatments as medical microdermabrasion and chemical peels. In addition to her vast knowledge of lasers and aesthetics, Alexis brings her lovely smile and "let's do it" attitude that lend a positive aura to all she touches. A proud graduate of Arizona State University, Alexis now resides in Rockwall. She's engaged to be married (to a very lucky guy) and enjoys spending time on the lake with her fiancée and their three furry kids (a.k.a. dogs).
